Muscles Strains are very common and often people will not seek treatment in the belief that it will heal by itself. The body does have extraordinary powers to heal, but only if we treat it well. Guidance by a qualified health professional will help make your recovery as fast and as pain free as possible. Also be aware that some injuries may look like a simple muscle strain when actually the pain is coming from another structure (joints or nerves can often refer pain into other areas). Any recurrent muscle strain must be properly assessed to uncover any underlying muscle imbalances that are causing the injury. This will help avoid the same injury recurring again and again.
